RFI is excited to announce our innovative new CD30 Multi-band Antenna. This future-proof solution supports multi-band radio technology currently being rolled out in the latest Emergency Services radio systems.

The CD30 series has been designed and manufactured in Australia by our Advanced R&D and manufacturing teams.

Introducing the CD30

The CD30 Series dual band VHF/UHF antennas support multi-band radio technology to provide interoperability among emergency management and response personnel, regardless of the frequency band used. It provides outstanding coverage of VHF and UHF in an easy-to-install, no tune design.

Vehicle roof space savings

Modern emergency vehicles are also running out of space to install more antennas. The CD30 covers both VHF and UHF bands in one antenna.

Why Multi-band Technology?

Many emergency services utilize both VHF for regional coverage and UHF for urban coverage.
Previously they would have installed two radios (& hence two antennas), however today’s radio manufacturers now provide VHF and UHF capabilities in one radio.

A single radio also allows emergency services a way to exchange critical voice and data communications seamlessly with multiple agencies and jurisdictions operating on different radio bands.

Low PIM

One of the underlying keys to best performing DAS and IBC networks is ensuring low PIM components are used, thereby guaranteeing lower noise and improved ratios. Our range utilise 4.3-10 connections required by telecommunications carriers to deliver the Low PIM rating of -153dBc.

By safeguarding your installation with Low PIM passive devices, your network is guaranteed to meet the ever-increasing demand for higher data rates and the ability to provide high quality streaming on mobile devices today and into the future.

Our low profile designs offer up a pleasant aesthetic by blending into almost any environment,

RFI offers a complete range of Panel and Omni-directional antennas, covering both Indoor & Outdoor applications. These can even be used as the donor site antenna for an In-building coverage system.

Introducing the YBA Series

The YBA Range

RFI is excited to release the YBA series of antennas,  including 2 and 4-bay 18 element Yagi arrays, in horizontal or vertical arrangements.

These new antennas cover 803-854 MHz, suiting the new 800 MHz linking band, as well as Studio to transmitter (STL links).

The design of the YBA dual and quad array antennas provides a highly directional signal, ideally suited for point to point links, either in high and medium density regions, or for long-haul links in regional areas.

The antenna also includes internal cabling providing maximum resistance to bird attack.

Alodine finishing is used to provide excellent conductivity and ensuring good earthing, whilst the aluminium build and RG142 cabling provides excellent mitigation of intermodulation IM products.
